Hyderabad: Vexed with the continuous disruption of House by the TDP members, the Deputy Speaker, Mr N Manohar, who was in the chair, on Friday expressed strong displeasure over the attitude of the Opposition members.
As the TDP members created pandemonium in the House demanding setting up of Joint Legislature Committee (JLC), the Deputy Speaker made an all efforts to convince the agitating members to cooperate with the chair for smooth running of the Hhouse. But, the TDP members did not pay heed to his words at any stage.
Expressing surprise over rigidity of the Opposition members on the issue of JLC, the Deputy Speaker reminded that the Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, has responded liberally and announced the review of the land allocation policy and assured for a statement from the government in the House on Monday.
“The members cannot take the House for ransom. Despite best of my efforts, the House was not disciplined. The rules of the House will the avail the facility of JLC. It was not proper to the Opposition members to stall the Question hour ever day”, the Deputy Speaker maintained. (NSS)
