Hyderabad: The State Committee of Democratic Youth Federation of India will launch agitation in front of all District Collectorates in the State to express resentment against laxity of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission in filling Group-I and Group-II posts on time.
The State DYFI president, Mr K Bhaskar, and the secretary, Mr Balakashi, have stated that the APPSC has been playing with the lives of unemployed youth in the State by not filling the jobs under Group-I and Group-II services. “The recruitment process has not been completed so far even as the notifications for filling of Group-I and Group-II posts were issued prior to the 2009 general elections. “It is a matter of betrayal on the part of the State government as it failed to fill the posts even though it gave a ray of hope to lakhs of unemployed youth by assuring them of an increase in the total number of posts to be filled”, they added.
The State Committee has called upon all the concerned to actively take part in the proposed agitation and make a success. (NSS)
