EAMCET ends peacefully

Hyderabad: The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), which was conducted on Sunday, ended peacefully all over the State.

The EAMCET was held in 668 centers and 96.75 per cent of students appeared for the test. The police made tight security in order to prevent any untoward incidents. The APSRTC authorities also pressed special bus services into service for the convenience of the students in all the towns where the test was conducted.

Strangely, Ms Srilatha of Warangal, who had applied for medical stream was given Hall ticket for Engineering. Some students, who reached the examination centers late were turned away. (NSS)
