Hyderabad, Feb.20 (NSS): The TDP on Sunday demanded the Government to table all the files related to EMAAR and Raheja in the Legislative Assembly and provide access to the legislators.
Speaking at a media conference in NTR Trust Bhavan here, the TDP leaders, Mr Galli Muddukrishnama Naidu and Mr Bojjala Gopala Krishna said that EMAAR and Raheja Groups have committed violation of agreements with APICC in Joint Ventures and caused loss of crores of rupees to the Government. Though the High Court was serious on the issue, the State Government was not interested in taking action against the firms. As demanded by some Congress MLAs, the Government should order CBI probe into the matter of EMAAR and Raheja, they demanded.
They also informed that the TDLP would give notice to the Deputy Speaker for a short discussion on the EMAAR and Raheja issue. The Government should also place the agreements and files related to EMAAR and Raheja in the Assembly, they added.
They also questioned as to why the Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy has not still accepted the resignation of Mr K V P Ramachnadar Rao for the post of Chairman of the advisory committee on public safety and security. (NSS)
