Hyderabad: Backward Classes Union president R Krishnaiah demanded the state government it fill up the back log vacancies under Group One services immediately.
Mr Krishnaiah told media persons at the Secretariat on Tuesday that due to the negligence of the government the quality of the administration fell down.
“Over 9,000 posts fell vacant in over 70 departments,” Mr Krishnaiah claimed. He also made light of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s promise that 15 lakh jobs would be created through the ‘Yuva Kiranalu.’
In Panchayat Raj Department alone, over 6000 part-time employees were to be made permanent as per the AVS Reddy Commission report.
Mr Krishnaiah appealed to the Chief Minister cm to stop the outsourcing method to employ candidates as it affected the work. “Those working under outsourcing method did not show interest as they were denied promotions,” he pointed out.
The BC leader also asked Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy to revive the District Selection Committee as it was last referred in 1985-86. (INN)
