Hyderabad: The popular film actor Rami Reddy (52) passed away this morning at KIMS hospital here. He has acted in about 25 films, mostly as a Villain.
The actor had been suffering from a kidney disease over the last few years. Rami Reddy had made his debut in the Telugu film industry, with the blessings of director Kodi Ramakrishna. His first picture, produced in the 1990, was ‘Ankusham’. Apart from Telugu, he had also acted in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalm films.
Gaayam, Anaga anaga Oka Roju, Ankusham, Ammoru, Peddarikam, Osey Ramulamma, Jagadeka Veerudu- Atiloka Sundari and Anji. Were some of his popular films.
Mr Reddy did post-grduate course in Journalism and worked as a Journalist in Hindi and Urdu newspapers, earlier.
NAIDU CONDOLES RAMI REDDY’S DEATH
TDP President Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu has condoled the death of noted actor Rami Reddy. He said in a release that Rami Reddy has won the appreciation of lakhs of film audience with his different style of acting. He said Telugu film industry has lost a good actor in his death. Mr. Naidu has expressed condolences to the members of the actor’s family. (NSS)
