Hyderabad: The Seemandhra senior Congress leader and former minister Mr Gade Venkat Reddy has said that the people of both the regions have to live together whether the State was divided or not. He said that the separate Telangana issue was a big issue and it was not possible to solve it easily.

Speaking to the media at Assembly premises here on Thursday, Mr Gade said that there was no need to criticize each other and it was not proper on the part of the leaders to speak as they wished. He said that he had discussions with the Telangana Congress leaders in the CLP office today.

Stating that it was not proper to reveal the matters discussed with the high command, Mr Gade said that he don’t know whether the AICC Chief Ms Sonia Gandhi had given an assurance on Telangana or not in the past, as claimed by the Telangana leaders. He said that they told to the high command to look the Telangana issue in national perspective and a decision taken in the interests of the nation.

When asked about the suicide of Telangana youth in front of the Parliament, he said that he don’t know about it. Suicides will not solve the problem, he added.
