Hyderabad: Refuting the allegations made by the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s staunch supporter, Ms Shoba Nagi Reddy, the Praja Rajyam Party Whip, Ms Vanga Geetha, has made it clear that the PRP never encouraged bribe taking and influencing others by threatening. She also asserted that the Banaganapalle MLA, Mr Katasani Rami Reddy, has returned to the party voluntarily and nobody had forced him to do so.

Speaking to the media at PRPLP office here on Monday, Ms Geetha said that politics are never rigid but were flexible. In the similar manner, Mr Rami Reddy had shifted his loyalties from Mr Jagan to the PRP, she added.

Responding to a query, she said that the future will tell whether the PRP Chief, Mr Chiranjeevi, would become chief minister or not.

Ms Geetha said that she met the Deputy Speaker to find out whether Ms Shoba Nagi Reddy and Mr Rami Reddy submitted their explanations or not. The Deputy Speaker informed her that he was yet to receive explanations from the MLAs, she said.

When asked whether the PRP would withdraw the complaint submitted to the Deputy Speaker on Mr Rami Reddy as he came back to party fold, she said that it was not that easy and it involves technicalities as the party has to follow. (NSS)
