Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party leader, Mr Gone Prakash Rao, has challenged that he was ready to lay down his life if the TRS Chief, Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao, and that party’s Medak MP, Ms Vijayashanthi, prepared to sacrifice their lives at the Parliament House if they really wanted that no suicides take place in the Telangana region.

Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Wednesday, Mr Gone lashed out at the TRS supremo and the Medak MP for their tall talks. Alleging that Mr KCR picked up Telangana slogan for his political mileage, the YSR Congress Party leader warned the TRS leaders not to provoke the students and youth of the region for their political gain.

Warning Ms Vijayashanthi not to make false statements, Mr Gone said that the people of Telangana knew where she was born. Stating that Ms Vijayashanthi was born and brought up in Madras, her forefathers were natives of Andhra region. He also dubbed Mr KCR’s Deeksha as bogus and said it was not good for Mr KCR to provoke the innocent people in the name of suicides.

The YSR Congress Party leader dared Mr KCR to hoist Telangana flag along with national tricolour in the Parade Grounds if he has guts.
