Hyderabad: Suspended TDP leader Nagam Janardana Reddy has alleged that the State government was suppressing the Telangana movement using the police force by following the 8th chapter of the Sri Krishna Committee report.

Dr. Nagam on Monday met the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, in his camp office and urged him to give permission for the fast of the students of the Osmania University.

Talking to the media later, he said whether the government gave permission or not, all the political leaders would visit the university campus and extend their support to the students. He has questioned the propriety of holding the SI examinations despite the resignations of 140 public representatives. He alleged that both the Centre and State government were adopting a dual policy in the scrapping of the 14-F clause of the Presidential order.
