Hyderabad: Alleging that the State government has failed in all aspects in ruling the State, the TDP has said that it served a notice of no-trust motion against the government to the Legislature Secretary on Thursday.
Speaking to the media at TDLP office here on Thursday after submitting notice for no-trust motion to the Legislature Secretary, Mr S Sadaram, the party senior leaders, Mr Thummala Nageshwar Rao, Mr Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Mr Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, Mr Mandava Venkateshwar Rao, Mr Dayakar Reddy, Ms Sathyavathi Rathod, Mr Nakka Anand Babu and Mr Praveen Reddy said that the government was not even ensuring minimum support price to the farmers though it was in power for the last seven years. Besides, the government increased seed and fertilizers prices and was not bothered to implement welfare schemes properly. Protesting against the government’s attitude, the TDP was moving no-confidence motion, they said.
They also alleged that the government was not distributing ex gratia properly to the victims of flood havoc and was not procuring the wet paddy. The disillusioned farmers were thinking of committing suicides due to the negligent attitude of the Congress government, they lamented.
