Hyderabad: Lashing out at the Anantapur MLA, Mr Gurunatha Reddy, for criticizing the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Council Whip, Mr Y Sivarami Reddy has said it was not proper for Mr Gurunatha Reddy to criticize the Chief Minister even while continuing in the Party.

Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Friday, Mr Sivarami Reddy found fault with Mr Gurunatha Reddy’s remarks that Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy got the Chief Ministership by carrying tales to the high command. He also asked Mr Gurunatha Reddy whether he too became an MLA by carrying tales against the local leader, Mr Narayana Reddy. He said the party would initiate action against Mr Gurunatha Reddy at an appropriate time for accompanying the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Stating that the criticism of the Leader of Opposition in the Council, Mr Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, against the Chief Minister was painful, Mr Sivarami Reddy asked Mr Dadi to explain how the TDP Chief, Mr Chandrababu Naidu, who had two acres land before entering politics, had earned several crores of rupees.

Expressing surprise over the meeting of the Yoga guru Ramdev Baba with Mr Chandrababu Naidu, he said he didn’t know the reason why all the scamsters were meeting Mr Chandrababu Naidu.

Responding to a query, Mr Sivarami Reddy said the ministers too were responsible for rampant corruption during Dr YSR regime.
