Hyderabad: Targeting the Telangana Congress MLAs, the TRS senior leader and MLA, Mr T Harish Rao, has demanded the former to come along with his party in stalling the proceedings of the House. The TRS was ready to work together by resigning to their posts, he said and asked the Telangana Congress MLAs to quit their posts and to join hands with the TRS to fight for achievement of Telangana State.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Friday, Mr Harish Rao alleged that the Telangana Congress MLAs were bowing their heads at the feet of the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He also asked the Congress MLAs of the region to strive for the sake of people and not for the sake of positions.
Reminding the Seemandhra MPs’ hostile reaction in Parliament when the Centre had announced that the process for creation of Telangana has started, Mr Harish Rao asked the Telangana Congress MLAs as to why they were fearing to come forward for separate State. He said that those who would not come forward for the sake of Telangana would remain as betrayers in the history. (NSS)
