Hyderabad: A bomb scare created a flutter at Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills on Monday evening.
At about 5.30 pm, police control room got a call from an unidentified man who said a bomb was placed on Apollo Hospital premises and it would go off any moment.
The control room staff alerted the Banjara Hills police and a bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot.
After scouring the premises for two hours, the bomb squad declared there was no explosive material in the hospital. “During the search, care was taken so that patients were not put to inconvenience,” Banjara Hills inspector M Sudershan said. Police are trying to trace the caller’s location. TOI
