Hyderabad: The Hyderabad district Collector, Mr Natarajan Gulzar, has said that the Indiramma houses would be allotted only to eligible persons.
The Collector participated in ‘Meekosam’ program on Monday and accepted complaints from the people.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector advised the people to lodge complaints if there were grievances among the people regarding allotment of houses. Seeking a report from the Secunderabad RDO and House Construction Manager on the complaint lodged by the people at the program, Mr Gulzar said that the earnest money deposit would be refunded to those who did not want a house site though they have applied for it. He also made it clear that there was no need for the people to apply repeatedly to derive benefits from the schemes like old age pensions, Apadbandu, house sites. He said that the government would sanction benefits under schemes only after thorough inquiry.
Responding to a complaint lodged by some parents that the National Child Labour Control Organisation was taking away their children, the Collector asked the people not to send their children as laborers but send them to schools by keeping them in hostels. He also made it clear that though the people got ‘Aadhar’ cards, ration cards will be revived only to the eligible families.
The Additional Joint Collector, Mr Y Sathyanandam, the DRO, Mr Madhu Mohan Rao, the Hyderabad RDO, Mr Harish, the Secunderabad RDO, Ms Ramamani, and other officials participated in the programm. (NSS)
