Hyderabad, Feb.6 (NSS): South Central Railway will introduce a Bi-weekly Express Train between Hyderabad and Kolhapur with effect from 18th February, 2011. In addition, the Hyderabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express and Tirupati – Kolhapur Haripriya Express which presently are running as combined trains will be de-linked to run as independent trains with effect from 15th February, 2011. The schedule of these trains is as follows.
Train No.17003/17004 Hyderabad-Sri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) – Hyderabad Bi-weekly Express: Train No.17003 Hyderabad–Sri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) Bi-weekly Express will depart Hyderabad on Mondays and Fridays at 23.30 Hrs., depart Begumpet at 23.42 Hrs. and arrive Sri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) at 22.45 Hrs. the next day. (Service will start from 18th February, 2011).
In the return direction, Train No.17004 Sri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) – Hyderabad Bi-weekly Express will depart Kolhapur on Wednesdays and Sundays at 07.30 Hrs., arrive Begumpet at 03.15 Hrs. and Hyderabad at 04.00 Hrs. the next day. (Service will start from 20th February, 2011)
En route, the train will stop at Sanathnagar, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Nawandgi, Kurgunta, Seram, Malkhaid Road, Chittapur, Nalwar, Yadgir, Narayanpet Road, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Bellary, Tornagallu, Hospet, Koppal, Gadag, Hubli Jn, Dharwad, Londa, Belgaum, Ghatprabha, Raybag, Kudachi, Miraj and Hatkanangale in both directions.
The train will comprise of one AC-2 Tier, one AC-3 Tier, Seven Sleeper Class, four General Second Class, two Second class luggage cum brake van coaches, totaling to fifteen.
In view of the introduction of this train, the slip coach service from Hyderabad to Kolhapur will be withdrawn from 15th February, 2011 and the slip coach service from Kolhapur to Hyderabad will be withdrawn from 17th February, 2011.
