Hyderabad: The Hyderabad district Collector, Mr Natarajan Guljar, on Thursday formally released the Annual Debt Plan of the district at the Collectorate.
Speaking as the chief guest, Mr Guljar said that of the targeted amount of Rs 28839.93 lakhs for the last financial year 2010-11, about 65 per cent of the targeted amount has been grounded with the amount pegged at Rs 18735.04 lakhs. He said that the officials and bankers have to strive to make it a hundred per cent grounded.
Referring to the current financial year, Mr Guljar said that the target has been fixed at Rs 23134.69 lakhs. He said that the officials and bankers have to surmount impediments being confronted at ground level and help the beneficiaries to avail of the credit facility.
The Additional Collector, Mr Satyanandam, said that the officials should focus on grounding after the credit was dispatched. He also advised them to consider those who were left out last year before considering the fresh ones this year.
The Lead District manager, Mr C Ramakoteshwar Rao, the E.D. of SC Corporation, Mr Satyanarayana, the District Youth Welfare officer, Mr Satyanarayana Reddy, the president of the District Minority Welfare Department, Mr Jalaluddin, the E.D. of the BC Corporation, Mr Khaja Najeem and DJMs Mr Pattabhiram, Mr R P Taspayalal and bankers and others attended the meeting.
