Hyderabad: The PCC Chief Mr Botcha Sathyanarayana, on Wednesday, has said that the Telangana issue was very sensitive. He made it clear that he would convey the feelings of all regions to the High Command as a PCC Chief though he belonged to a particular region.
Addressing a gathering in his Medak district tour on Wednesday, Mr. Botcha has said the Telangana issue should not be politicized as sentiments existed even in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. Problems were there in three regions, he said and added that he would strive to attend to the problems of the people to the best of his abilities. He said that he would treat all the regions equally as the PCC Chief.
The PCC Chief also said that there was no mistake on part of the Mr. Chiranjeevi in aspiring for the Chief Minister’s post. Stating that Mr. Chiranjeevi was an eligible person to the Chief Minister’s post, he said that every one enters into the political arena with a particular aim.
Making it clear that the present Congress government would continue late Dr YSR’s welfare schemes, he said there was no need to doubt if the present Congress government would continues the welfare schemes or not. He said that the persons were not as important to the Congress party as policies. He said that Mr. N Kiran Kumar Reddy government was continuing Pavala Vaddi, Kilo rice for Rs.2 schemes as was done during Dr YSR’s government. He asked the party activists to strengthen the party.
Earlier, Mr Botcha has participated in a bike rally organised by the local youth from Lingampally to Patancheru. Due this, traffic was interrupted for hours in this area.
Mr Botcha Sathyanarayana as a Transport Minister has inaugurated the Patancheru Bus Depot and participated in a meeting here organised by the Medak District Congress Committeee. Speaking on this occasion, Mr Botcha has said that he would set up a Satellite RTC Depot at Narsapur in Medak district.
