Hyderabad: The estranged TDP senior leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, has termed the ‘Telangana Rana Bheri’ being organized by the Telangana Forum of his party as ‘Samaikya Andhra Rana Bheri.’
Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Dr Nagam called upon protagonists of Telangana in all parties to remain vigilant about the meeting.
Alleging that the TDP leadership was making efforts to save the party in the Seemandhra region, he questioned as to why such effort was not being made in the Telangana region. He also questioned as how even the ‘Telangana Forum’ of the party could work for the people of Seemandhra. He questioned how the people would believe simply because the ‘Rana Bheri’ was being held in Karimnagar.
Dr Nagam said that implementation of the Eighth Chapter of the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee has already started in the State. Alleging that the party chief, Mr Chandrababu Naidu had objected to their proposal of touring the districts and building up the movement, Dr Reddy demanded that Mr Chandrababu Naidu should abide by the 2008 resolution of his party. He also said that the party’s Mahanadu should take a decision in favour of Telangana. (NSS)
