Hyderabad: Condemning the Agriculture Minister, Mr Y S Vivekananda Reddy’s attack on his party member in the House, the TDP senior leader, Mr P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, has said that the incident clearly proved that violence was family culture of Mr Y S Vivekananda Reddy and Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that it was a good example to show how the Y S family was resorting to atrocities and physical attacks.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Monday along with party MLAs, Mr Ashok Gajapathy Raju asked whether it was justifiable for the minister to scold the TDP member, who was demanding for JLC.
The Telangana TDP Forum has said that while the TDP members were demanding constitution of JLC on Dr YSR government’s land allotment issue, the Agriculture Minister and Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s loyalist MLAs behaved like ‘goons’ in the House. The Forum said that the incident was a great violation of rights of the House. The Forum also alleged that Mr Vivekananda attacked the TDP members fearing that his land encroachments might come out if the government appointed JLC.
Alleging that Dr YSR government had occupied all lands in Ranga Reddy district, Mr Harishwar Reddy said that the Deputy Speaker has miserably failed to run the House. (NSS)
