Hyderabad: Reacting to the Supreme Court, refusing to stay an Andhra Pradesh High Court order for a Central Bureau of Investigation enquiry into the assets amassed by Y S R Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy, its party official spokesman Ambati Rambabu expressed full confidence that Jagan would come out clean in the investigation.
Talking to media persons on Friday at YSR Congress party office, Ambati Rambabu said that the refusal by apex court to stay high court order for a CBI enquiry was not a setback to Jaganmohan Reddy and he would prove the allegations against him are baseless and politically motivated.
“We always welcome CBI enquiry and we are not treating it as setback for us. We respect the Supreme court directions,” he stated.
However, he blamed the politicians for politicising the issue to get mileage and targeting the Jaganmohan Reddy with vested interests.
He alleged politicians hatched conspiracy to target Jagan unable to digest his growing popularity.
“We will go before people and tell all details and prove our ability,” he said.(INN)
