Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party president, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s supporters gathered at his residence in large numbers on Thursday and staged a protest against the CBI raids on his properties.

Mr Jagan’s followers came in a procession to his house in Jubilee Hills and raised slogans against the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, and the CBI. They warned that if the raids were not halted, they would not hesitate to raid the houses of the Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi, and Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy.

The protestors have alleged that the Congress leadership was behind these raids as it was unable to digest his massive following. Stating that politics should be opposed with politics and not by arm-twisting and blackmailing methods like this, they alleged that the Congress party had colluded with the TDP and other Opposition parties to harass Jagan. They also warned that none of those indulging in witch-hunting would get their deposits in the next elections. They claimed that Mr Jagan continued his ‘Odarpu Yatra’ unfazed despite these raids as he was honest and courageous.
