Hyderabad: The Congress MLC, Mr Jupudi Prabhakara Rao, has alleged that Mr Y S Vivekananda Reddy, Congress candidate in Pulivendula, was indulging in anti-party activities and demanded action against him. He said that action should also be taken against the Lok Sabha candidate of Congress, Dr D L Ravindra Reddy, as both of them were campaigning with the photographs of Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and not the party president, Ms Sonia Gandhi.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday after submitting a petition to the Chief Electoral Officer, Mr Prabhakar Rao said that it was Mr Vivekananda Reddy and Dr Ravindra Reddy on whom the Congress party should taken action and not those four MLAs (supporting Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy).

Mr Prabhakara Rao has alleged that the Congress ministers were indulging in misuse of power to ensure the victory of the Congress candidates. He along with some other YSR Congress party representatives submitted a petition to the Chief electoral Officer about the misuse of power by Congress ministers.

The YSR Congress party leaders have urged the Election Commission to immediately recall the ministers from Kadapa. Mr Prabhakara Rao exuded confidence that Mr Jagan would win by a majority of three lakh votes from the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency. (NSS)
