Hyderabad, Feb.17 (NSS): The TRS MLA, Mr K Taraka Rama Rao, today made it clear that his party members did not attack the Lok Satta Party leader and Kukatpally MLA, Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, at the media point on the Assembly premises.

Speaking to the media here, Mr Taraka Rama Rao said that they have merely objected when Dr JP was talking to the media for a long time at the media point. The Telangana people would soon revolt against the Lok Satta Party leader for acting against their aspirations over Telangana statehood. “As a former IAS officer, we had great respect towards JP. But, we would not tolerate his favoritism towards Seemandhra”, he cautioned. He also made it clear that the TRS would paralyze the administration until a clear announcement was made by the Centre on Telangana Statehood.

The TRS MLA, Mr T Harish Rao, questioned the Lok Satta Party president, Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, as to why he kept silent when over 600 students sacrificed their lives for Telangana Statehood and preaching sermons about Constitutional norms now. He also deplored that no one was paying heed to the long pending aspiration of the Telangana people for having separate Telangana State. (NSS)
