Kandula Brothers Bid Good Bye TDP-A Blow TDP

Posted by on April 6, 2011 0 Comment

Hyderabad: The powerful Kandula brothers of Kadapa, who gave a stiff fight to the late Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the past elections, have left the Telugu Desam Party. Though they have not announced their future plans, it is said that PRP leader C Ramachandraiah and others have talked to the brothers and asked them to join the Congress. If that materializes, Kandula Rajamohan Reddy or his brother Kandula Siva Reddy could be the Congress candidates for the on-going by-elections.

The Kandula brothers quitting the TDP is considered a blow to the TDP, particularly on the eve of the by-elections in Kadapa district. Needless to say, the TDP leadership is exuding confidence of winning the Kadapa Lok Sabha and the Pulivendula Assembly seats only on the theory that the split of votes between the Congress and the Jagan’s party would help the party.
