Hyderabad, Feb.15 (NSS): A 13-member delegation of Karnataka Media Academy, led by its chairman, Mr D.P. Parameshwara, today called on the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, at Secretariat.
In a brief interaction with the Chairman of Karnataka Media Academy, the Chief Minister said that he laid foundation to the Rs 1,000-crore Tata Aerospace project in the State on Monday. He also said that his government was giving priority to Agriculture and spending Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 crores for the free power being provided to the farmers in the State. The government is expecting Rs 1,300-crore investments in hardware sector in the next 15 days and Andhra Pradesh was providing cheapest power to the industries in the country. He said that Rs 2,800-crore Nuclear manufacturing unit is also coming up in Visakhapatnam.
The Karnataka Media Academy Chairman lauded the activities of the A.P. Press Academy and wished the Chief Minister all the best.
The delegation consists of the members of Karnataka Media Academy, Mr Veranna Shelvanthara, Mr M.S. Mani, Mr N. Raju, Mr B.G. Ananthashaina, Prof. G.P. Shivaram, Dr Omkar Kakade, and Secretary of the Academy, Dr.B.R.Mamatha and others.
The Chairman of Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Tirumalagiri Surender; Secretary, Mr.Nagaiah Kamble and other staff members were present. (NSS)
