KCR competing with Chiranjeevi in merger race

Hyderabad: Mr. Jimmi Babu, Executive Secretary of Telugu Yuvata has commented that the TRS chief Mr. KCR was competing with Chiranjeevi in the race to merge his party in the Congress.

In a statement here on Friday, he said Mr. Chiranjeevi who said before elections that he would wage a relentless war against Congress and KCR who said he would throw the Congress in the Bay of Bengal were now competing with each other in the merger race. He has questioned how KCR could say that the Congress would concede Telangana in two weeks. He said KCR should tell the people how he got this information which even Congress leaders had not received. Mr. Babu has alleged that KCR was trying to help the Congress party to slide out of the present crisis. KCR going to the house of minister Mr. Jana Reddy, Mr. KTR and Mr. Kodandarami Reddy going to the house of KK were al indications that the TRS would soon be merged in the Congress. He said KCR was showing more interest in merging his party in Congress thatn achieving Telangana.

Mr. Babu faulted KCR for not expressing solidarity with the fasting OU stuents and said he had not even bothered to visit them. He said instead he went to the Congress party’s fake fasts and covered his shoulders with their shawl. Warning that the people of Telangana would not trust him, he said people would soon expose him and drive him away from Telangana.
