Hyderabad: Alleging that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Chief, Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao, was once again exhibiting his super intelligent skills, the Primary Education Minister, Dr S Shailajanath, has said that the news that Telangana Congress leaders fell in the trap of the former was only media creation.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday after meeting the PCC Chief, Dr Shailajanath said that there was no mistake in Mr KCR meeting the Congress leaders. He also said that there was nothing wrong in the TDP rebel leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy’s meeting with the Congress senior leader, Dr K Keshav Rao. They were known to each other very well for long, he added.

The minister said that the Seemandhra Congress leaders would meet the party high command to present their version before July 10. The Centre would take a final decision soon on Telangana issue, he said, adding that as an integrationist he and other leaders of Seemandhra would convey their united Andhra Pradesh argument to the high command.

Dr Shailajanath said that the Seemandhra leaders would urge the Centre to implement the Justice Srikrishna Committee recommendations on Telangana issue. Opining that division of the State should be scientific and not the basis of emotions, he said that the rights of Dalits would be protected only in the United Andhra Pradesh. He said that every one presented their version to the Justice Srikrishna Committee and the Centre has to take a decision on Telangana issue based on Committee’s report.
