Hyderabad: Stating that there was a threat to the life of the “Sakshi” vice-chairman, Mr Vijaysai Reddy, the TDP senior legislator, Mr Payyavula Keshav, has urged the State government to provide full security to the former.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Mr Keshav said as Mr Vijaysai Reddy knows everything about the affairs of the Kadapa MP, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, there was a threat to the lives of the Sakshi vice-chairman as well as all other witnesses concerned, he added. To give credence to his doubts, he pointed out that key witnesses in the Partala Ravindra murder case were physically liquidated one after another.

The TDP leader has felt that nothing new will be found in the CBI raids because all those connected with the case might have taken enough care as the probe against Jagan and Emaar Properties commenced 25 days ago. Stating that the investigation would yield incriminating evidence in the case, Mr Keshav exuded confidence that truth would come out behind the ill-gotten wealth of Mr Jagan with the intervention of the High Court.

He also demanded that the Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi’s advisor, Mr Ahmed Patel and former cabinet colleague’s of late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy should also be interrogated in this connection. He also pointed out that the YSR Congress Party chief was now admitting the allegation of the Opposition parties, who dubbed late YSR Cabinet as a gang of robbers.

“All would have been very happy had Mr Jagan amassed wealth by hard work like Tatas and Birlas. But he grabbed money through illegal methods by taking advantage of his father’s position as chief minister”, he added.
