On Tuesday, on the request of the doctors, we took them to the scene of offence.”

A team of forensic doctors, including Gandhi Sriramulu and Dr Sandhya, visited the scene of offence where Kiran was allegedly murdered. Their initial opinion is that Kiran was smothered and final report will be out on Wednesday. On June 17, Kiran had attended a party hosted by her brother, Mr Sunil Reddy, and returned home late in the night. She even informed Sunil that had she reached home safely and went to bed. On June 18, she was found dead in her house at Bharani Layout at Road No 78 in Jubilee Hills here.

The Jubilee Hills police had initially registered a case of suspicious death. However, following a complaint by Kiran’s father, Mr Raghottam Reddy, the police on June 19, altered it to a murder case and started investigations. The police said, “Chaitanya Reddy told us that Kiran may have died due to food poisoning or alcohol problem and said he didn’t murder her.” Deccan Chronicle
