Kiran pats IIT-JEE top rankers from state

Hyderabad: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, today congratulated the top rankers of Andhra Pradesh in the IIT-JEE (Indian Institutes of Technology–Joint Entrance Examination). This is the second successive year when the students from Andhra Pradesh bagged top honours in the IIT-JEE results. The Chief Minister, in a congratulatory message to the top ranking students said, “Well done. You have done proud for not only your parents and the institution but also to our State. Keep it up. I wish you will achieve more laurels in the days to come. Wish you all the very best”.

Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the students from Andhra Pradesh have bagged five of the top ten ranks in the IIT entrance examination including the 1st, 3rd and fourth rank. The Chief Minister had a special word of appreciation for the first rank holder Prudhvi Tej. The Chief Minister said higher education with employability is one of the top priorities of his government. (NSS)
