Hyderabad: The no-confidence notice given by the TDP has put the Congress MLAs from the Telangana region in a very embarrassing situation. Protagonists of Telangana have demanded that they vote against the government as it had not taken a decision on the statehood.
Talking to the media here on Friday, Telangana JAC convener Prof. Kodandaram has warned that if the Congress MLAs of the region did not vote against the government, they would remain traitors of Telangana for ever, in the history. He has also called upon people to bring pressure on their MLAs to vote against the government.
Telangana Front Chairman and balladeer Gaddar has also said that the Congress MLAs of the region should themselves move a no-confidence motion against the government. He has alleged that the TDP Chief Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu has conspired to divert the focus from the Telangana issue by moving the no confidence motion.
Meanwhile, the suspended TRS MLA Mr. Kaveti Sammaiah has announced that he would vote against the government. He said the time has now come for the Congress MLAs of the region to prove their sincerity and commitment for Telangana.
TRS leader and former MP Mr. Vinod has said the people of Telangana would not trust the Congress MLAs of the region if they did not vote against the government. He said the Congress party which was anti-Telangana deserved to be dislodged and it was the duty of all the Telangana MLAs to vote against the government.
