Hyderabad: Denying that there was any rift in his family, Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao’s brother and Srikakulam MLA Dharmana Krishnadas on Friday demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy clarify who he meant when he said that the MLAs supporting YSR Congress Party were ‘thieves inside the house’.
Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy must names these ‘thieves’, Mr Krishnadas demanded and said that the MLAs supporting the YSR Congress Party were doing so because they were loyal to former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his family.
Pointing out that his loyalty to former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the reason behind his maintaining proximity with YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the Srikakulam MLA condemned the reports appearing in a section of the press that Mr Jaganmohan Reddy had split the Dharmana family.
He told media persons that the Kadapa MP-elect has not created a rift in his family.
Mr Krishnadas said that he was supporting Mr Jaganmohan Reddy as was loyal to former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s family and said that he was an MLA because of YSR.
The MLA further added said that he was ready to submit his resignation from the House whenever Mr Jaganmohan Reddy asked him to do so. “I will resign if Mr Jaganmohan Reddy asks me to do so and the YSR Congress party,” he stated.(INN)
