Lady Teacher Murdered Near Amberpet Area

Hyderabad: Even as the World Women’s Day is being celebrated with much pomp in the city, a ghastly incident involving the murder of a Lady Teacher by slitting her throat has come to light today. The incident came to light in the morning at Durgabai Deshmukh Colony (DD Colony), Amberpet area.

According to police, one Ms Shilpa, and her husband Mr Gopi were living in DD Colony. Ms Shilpa’s brother Mr Seshu, who came to Hyderabad in search of a job, has been living with them for some time. On Monday night, Ms Shilpa’s husband Mr Gopi went to his parents’ house in Hayath Nagar.

The locals called up the police on seeing Ms Shilpa’s body in her house. Police suspect that Seshu might have killed Ms Shilpa, and his disappearance was one of the factors for this suspicion. The locals said that both wife and husband were at good vibes.

Ms Shipla was working with the local Dattasai School as a teacher. Police registered a case, and inquiring in to the cause of the murder. Police have already questioned Ms Shilpa’s husband. (NSS)
