Hyderabad: The Mala Mahanadu has requested the Chief Minister Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy to institute an impartial inquiry into the allegations of large scale corruption and irregularities committed by the General Manager of Ranga Reddy District Industries Centre Mr A V Patel and threatened of agitation and movement if necessart action was not taken against him.
Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Paladugu AnilKumar, Mala Mahanad Telangana Districts in-charge, Mr Btthula Ramprasad, President, Mala Sankshema Sangam, Mr B Deepak Kumar, President, Telangana Mala Yuvasena and others said that they have called on the Chief Minister yesterday and presented a memorandum to him on the corrupt activities of Nr Patel and demanded his suspension and keeping him away from the DIC, RR District, during the inquiry.
They pointed out that Minister Dr P Shanker Ro had recently visited the DIC and found irregularities. They alleged that Mr Patel has been demanding bribes from the entrepreneurs and threatening them of serious consequences if they failed to pay bribes. (NSS)
