Hyderabad: The Mala Mahanadu State president Mr Karem Sivaji has demanded that the State government should stop Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) raids on innocent SC employees in the State.
Speaking to media persons here today, Mr Sivaji alleged the Government has directed the ACB officials to conduct raids on innocent SC employees, leaving the corrupt officials belonging to the upper castes in the state. He said that the ACB officials had raided the house of Transco A.E Mr Rajasekhar who resides in a rented house, and seized Rs 4,000 on June 13. He said that a four- member fact finding committee headed by Mala Mahanadu state secretary, Mr Kasanna had visited Jadchrla and inquired into Mr Rajasekhar’s incident.
The association secretary and fact finding committee chairman Mr T. Kasanna said that one Mr Vijayakumar, who belongs to upper caste, had applied for electricity connection for Tiles Unit in the name of Balaji Industries. Mr Rajasekhar had sanctioned electricity connection on June 8 to the Tiles unit. He said that Mr Rajasekhar had cut the power connection as the Tiles unit was illegally using power from Transco. Mr Rajasekhar has asked Mr Vijay kumar to give explanation on using illegal power from Transco. He said that Mr Vijaya Kumar colluded with ACB officers, and organized the raid Mr Rajasekhar’s house. Mr Vijaya kumar forcibly kept Rs.4,000 in the hands of Mr Rajasekhar and ran away rom the spot and the ACB officials then raided his house and foisted the case.
He demanded the State government to file case against Balaji Industries chairman Mr Vijaya Kumar and protect innocent employee Mr Rajasekhar.
