Hyderabad: Markazi Majlis e Quadria (Hyderabad) will be holding a conference” on the occasion of the 150th death anniversary of the first Muslim freedom fighter of India “Allama Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi” on May 29 at 10.30 am at Jubilee Hall, Public Gardens, Nampally.
Talking to mediapersons here on Friday, the APCC general secretary, Mr Mohammed Abid Rasool Khan, said that Allama Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi was son of Allama Fazl-e-Imam Farooqui Khairabadi, the Sadrus Sudoor of Delhi. Allama Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi was taught by Shah Abdul Quadir and Shah Abdul Aziz, Mumhaddith of Delhi in Islamic sciences and by his father Allama Fazl-e-Imam Farooqui Khairabadi in rational sciences. Allama completed his education at the age of 13 and started teaching himself. He took up employment in government services in 1815. After the English regained control over Dehi, Allama left for Awadh from Delhi. In 1859, he was tried in the court for rebellion and sentenced to life imprisonment in Kaala Paani (Andaman and Nicobar islands) where Allama passed away in 1861 and was buried there.
Mr Rasool Khan said that Mr K. Rahman Khan, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha will be the chairperson at the conference. Barrister Janab Asaduddin Owaisi, MP and president of AIMIM, will preside over the conference. Mr Mohammed Ahmedullah, Minister of Minority Welfare, Mr Sirajuddin Qureshi, Chairman, Indian Islamic Cultural Center, New Delhi, Mr Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, MLA and general secretary of AIMIM, Mr Khaja Khaleelullah, former chairman of HUDA, Mr Syed Naseer Ahmed, Advocate, will be the chief guests. Mr Maulana Syed Auliya Hussaini Quadri and Maulana Syed Aale Mustafa Quadri Al Moosavi will give a lecture on the life of Allama.
Mr Maulana Syed Mohammed Ali Quadri, Alhashmi Mumshad Pasha, president of MMQ, Mr Mohammed Muneer Qureshi, Editor & vice-chairman of MMQ, Mr Ateeq Siddiqui Khurram, Congress leader and chief coordiantor of MMQ will participating. (NSS)
