Hyderabad: Congress MP from Nagarkurnool Manda Jagannadham on Sunday stated that the Telangana MPs would announce their future course after Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar takes a decision on their resignations.
Talking to media persons after emerging out of MPs meeting convened at MP Madhu Yaskhi residence in Banjara Hills, Mr Jagannadham said that the Telangana MPs would meet in New Delhi on Monday and announce their action plan once Ms Meira Kumar takes a decision on their resignations.
However, the Nagarkurnool MP pointed out that the Lok Sabha Speaker has so far not consulted the Telangana leaders on the resignations.
The meeting of the Telangana Congress MPs on Sunday residence assumes importance in the wake of Monsoon Session of Parliament set to begin from Monday.

“We are ready to sacrifice anything for the cause of statehood and there is no question of withdrawing our resignations,” the Nagarkurnool MP said.
He also disclosed that the Telangana Congress leaders will also meet Congress In-Charge of State Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday in New Delhi and have discussions on the issue.
