Hyderabad: Mr P R Mohan, TDP leader and former chairman of Sri Kalahasti Devasthanam, has condemned the alleged sexual harassment of students of the Veda Pathasala of the TTD.
In a statement here on Friday, Mr Mohan said that not only those responsible, but also those who remained silent without taking action against the guilty, should also be punished for the heinous crime. He urged the government to take stern action against all the concerned and restore the past glory to the Veda Pathasala.
The TDP leader said the news of sexual deviance in the Dharmagiri Vedic School, which was in the vicinity of Lord Venkateswara’s Ananda Nilayam has stunned the devotees and also exposed the shallowness of the TTD administration, he added. (NSS)
