MPs panel meets SCR officials on railway projects

Hyderabad: The Railway Convention Committee of Members of Parliament headed by Mr Arjun Charan Sethi, held a meeting with Mr M. S. Jayanth, General Manager and other senior officials of South Central Railway on Tuesday. The meeting was held to discuss the status of ongoing railway projects.

Mr Jayanth detailed the Committee on the Performance of the Zone. Mr Arjun Charan Sethi, Chairman of the Committee, in his interaction with the SCR Officials sought to know the details of various railway projects. The members of the Railway Convention Committee Mr Rama Chandra Khuntia, Dr Arjun Roy, Mr Ram Sinh Rathwa, Mr Hansraj Gangarao Ahir, Mr P Balram Naik, Mr Marotrao Sainuji Kowase, Mr A Elavarasan, Mr Shreegopal Vyas were present. The committee also visited the Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering & Telecommunications (IRISET), Lallaguda, Secunderabad on Monday.

Earlier, Mr C. Srinivasa Rao, Deputy General Manager (General) & Chief Public Relations Officer, SCR welcomed the Members of the committee. Mr Vijaya Mohan, Additional General Manager, SCR and other senior officials of the Zone were also present. (NSS)
