Hyderabad: Stung by allegations levelled against TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao by TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu at the Mahanadu, TRS leaders demanded that the government order a probe into the assets owned by both KCR and Naidu.
At a press conference on Monday, KCR’s son and TRS leader K T Rama Rao alleged that Naidu owned two acres of land before joining politics. “He is now the world’s richest politician with Rs 20,000 crore worth properties across the world. He has no right to call KCR a blackmailer,”Rama Rao said. Naidu had called KCR `vasool raja’ at the party’s three-day annual event that concluded on Sunday.
“We are ready for any kind of probe into the assets owned by KCR. Is Naidu also ready for a similar probe?” Rao asked.
The TDP leaders of Telangana region had failed to convince Naidu to adopt a resolution in favour Telangana at the Mahanadu, Rao said. TOI
