New PCC Chief vows to help solve Telangana tangle

Hyderabad: Making it clear that he would extend his services to help solve the Telangana issue, the new PCC Chief, Mr Botcha Satyanarayana, has said that the Congress high command would take a decision on division of the State that would benefit all the people. He also said that he would report only facts to the party High Command.

Addressing the media after assuming charge as the PCC Chief at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday at 11 am, Mr Botcha clarified that he has no differences not only with the Chief Minister but with any leader. His aim was to work together as the AICC Chief, Ms Sonia Gandhi has appointed him with that view, he said, adding that he would work as a coordinator among the party, the State government and the party high command to remove communication gap.

Mr Botcha said that he would prepare an action plan to campaign about the welfare schemes that were being implemented by the Congress government among the people. He also said that the party would be eyes and ears of the government. He said that issuing advertisements to the media will not be useful to the government but the Congress activists’ oral campaign would help the party that the welfare schemes being implemented by the government was Congress government.

The PCC chief urged the party cadre to convey their grievances to the party so that he could help solve the problems of the party workers and prepare them to face the 2014 elections. He said that he would meet the Chief Minister twice a week and discuss about the party. He also made it clear that he would enhance confidence kept on him by the seniors by strengthening the party.
