Hyderabad: Hailing the resignation of Telangana leaders from the Congress and Telugu Desam Party, Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee on Monday warned that the student leaders would picket the houses of those leaders who failed to resign to their posts.
The OUJAC condemned the statements of those describing the resignations as `political drama’ and warned that the people of region would not forgive them and teach a fitting lesson to them in the next elections.
The JAC members demanded that the Centre announce a clear decision before July 10.
If the Centre fails to announce a decision on separate statehood by July 10, the JAC members warned that thousands of students would go on an indefinite hunger fast in front of Osmania University Arts College from July 11.
The student leaders also extended their full cooperation and solidarity to all agitations announced by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao from July 5.(INN)
