Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress senior leader, Mr Palvai Goverdhan Reddy, has asked the resigned MPs, MLAs and MLCs not to sit in their respective Houses and instead go to the people and explain them about Telangana issue.

Speaking at the Assembly media point on Saturday along with another senior leader, Mr K R Amos, Mr Palvai said that the resigned leaders should go to their districts instead of awaiting decision of the party high command.

He also asked the resigned leaders to look into the resources looted by the Seemandhra leaders along with achieving separate Telangana. Pointing out that the State government was not responding to their complaints on Polavaram project properly, he said that the Pranahitha-Chevella project had been taken up only to benefit the contractors.
