PCC cell holds prayers for Sonia’s speedy recovery

Hyderabad: The PCC Linguistic Minority Cell has conducted special prayers in Temples, Gurudwaras, Mosques and Churches in the city praying for speedy recovery of the Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi who has recently undergone a surgery in the USA.

Informing this at a media conference at NSS here on Sunday, Cell Chairman, Mr Ashok Singh has said that they were hopeful that Mrs Sonia Gandhi would recover fully and return to India very shortly.

Mr Singh hailed the decision of the Congress high command on Mr Rahul Gandhi, AICC General Secretary, hoisting the National flag at the AICC headquarters in Deli on the Independence Day. He said the Linguistic Minority Cell has hailed the decision of the President of India to delete Clause 14 (f) of the Presidential Order 1975, which brought great relief to the Telangama region which is in turmoil.

Mr Ashok Singh said that the Rashtra Basha, Rajiv Gandhi Diwas Awards would be presented on September 14 at Gandhi Bhavan, in which more than 100 schools and colleges would participate. PCC Chief Mr Botcha Satyanarayana will be the Chief Guest at the function. Pandit Vishesh Sharma, Chairman, Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee Minority Cell, Mr Vjay Shankar Pandey, Mr Murali Mohan Singh, Mr Syed Afsar Ali and others participated in the media meet.
