PCC Chief Botcha Satyanaryana on Wednesday hurriedly left for New Delhi following a message from the party high command.
Rumors were doing rounds in the State capital that the high command would discuss with the PCC chief about change of the Chief Minister. But others argue that the high command summoned the PCC Chief to ensure that party MPs from the State attend the session all days as Parliament winter session begins on November 22. The MPs from Telangana region have already said they would utilize the winter session to mount pressure on the party high command as well as UPA government on the Telangana issue.
Meanwhile, Eluru MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, who met the Chief Minister, has announced that he would not attend the winter session of Parliament even though the party serves a Whip on the MPs. Under the circumstances, the PCC Chief may have to cajole the MPs to attend the session without fail. (NSS)
