PCC raps Jagan for threatening govt

Hyderabad: Making it clear that the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) and Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) would work in tandem to revive the party’s past glory, the PCC has said that the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, was organizing different ‘Deekshas’ to threaten the State government.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday along with another spokesperson Dr N Thulasi Reddy, the PCC official spokesperson and senior leader, Mr Paladugu Venkata Rao, demanded that Mr Jagan explain how he had earned that much of money in a short period. Mr Venkata Rao said that he does not own even a 1000 square feet land on his name even though he was in politics for the last three decades. He said that Mr Jagan had only concentrated on earnings while his father concentrated on public service.

Alleging that Mr Jagan backstabbed the Congress party, Mr Paladugu asked Mr Jagan how would he react if some one had backstabbed him. Faulting Mr Dharmana Krishna Das for saying that he doesn’t know who Ms Sonia Gandhi was, he asked the former as to how he had won the election on ‘Hand’ symbol. He charged Mr Jagan with creating a new trend in politics by changing the politics into a gamble.

Dr Thulasi Reddy said that there was no truth in the contention of the TDP and YSR Congress Party that the State government did nothing to the farmers and added that the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, launched ‘Rythu Chaitanya Yatra’ from May 17 to help the farmers community.(NSS)
