Hyderabad: The APCC here on Wednesday said that the people of the entire State want the present government to continue, lest the present welfare and developmental schemes might be cancelled. They do not want the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was eagerly waiting only for the post of Chief Minster as a cunning jackal.
Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan, the PCC official spokesperson, Dr N Thulasi Reddy, said that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy was thinking that the people of the entire State were like the people of Kadapa. Therefore, he was frequently talking about ‘no-confidence motion’ against the Congress government.
Stating that the Congress candidates had lost in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections wherever Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy campaigned, Dr Thulasi Reddy said that Mr Jagan will be another KCR who had won the 2006 bye-election by two lakh majority and lost base in Hyderabad in 2009 elections.
Mr Jagan, who had declared that he would not topple the Congress government in the State as it was formed by his late father, was always talking about no-confidence motion, he ridiculed.
Another PCC spokesperson, Mr Venkataramana Reddy, said that those who were migrating to the YSR Congress Party, would return to the Congress soon. “There would be no problem to the Congress party even if the defectors won’t come back”, he added. He also alleged that Mr Jagan and the TDP Chief, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, were competing with each other in criticizing the State government over farmers’ issues. (NSS)
