Hyderabad: Demanding that the Union Home Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, tender apologies to the Telangana people, the TRS leader, Mr Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, said the former has become an accused for stating that another resolution of the Assembly was needed for removal of 14(F) Clause from the Presidential Order.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday, Mr Pocharam said that some leaders were hatching conspiracies to stop removal of 14(F) Clause from the Presidential order. He warned that the heinous games of those who conspired to stop removal of the 14(F) Clause will not work anymore. He demanded that the Telangana MPs come back to the State only after cancellation of the 14(F) Clause.
Appealing to the Congress elected representatives to intensify the movement by tendering resignations again, he said the people were running the movement in the Telangana region while the leaders were running the movement in the Seeamandhra region. Demanding that the Telangana MPs to make the Lok Sabha Speaker, Ms Meira Kumar, to accept their resignations, Mr Pocharam said the MPs should come back with a clear announcement of the Centre on Telangana. He warned the MPs that the Telangana people would not allow the Telangana MPs to step into Hyderabad without coming with an assurance from the Union government.
Requesting the AP Bhavan official, Mr Chandra Rao, to withdraw the case filed against the TRS leaders in the Delhi Police Station, he said the assault was not intentional. He said that some leaders were hatching a conspiracy in Delhi against the TRS leaders.
The former TRS MP, Mr B. Vinod Kumar, told the media in Telangana Bhavan, that it appears that Mr Chidambaram was asking for another resolution of the Assembly as the TDP, PRP and Seemandhra Congress leaders have changed their stand on removal of 14(F) Clause. He demanded that the State government conduct the SI Examination only after removal of the 14(F) Clause.
