Hyderabad: The TRS Chief, Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao, has said that the Telangana Political JAC meeting to be held on June 7 would come out with a “deadline” to the Telanagana elected representatives.
Speaking to media here, Mr KCR said that the MLAs from the Telangana region, irrespective of their political affiliation, should resign to their posts in order to mount pressure on the Centre and the State government over the Telangana issue. The JAC Comvenor, Prof. Kodandaram, would announce the deadline on that day, he added. It was also decided to intensify the Telangana agitation and expose the dramas being enacted by the ruling Congress party and the main Opposition TDP on Telangana issue, he added.
Mr KCR alleged that the TDP Chief, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu, was completely in favour of united Andhra Pradesh. As a part of match-fixing between the ruling party and the main Opposition party, the TDP gave a notice of no-confidence motion to the Secretary of Legislature.
“we have decided to intensify the Telangana agitation and mount pressure on the Centre as the monsoon session was nearing. On July 10, a bandh will be observed in the entire Telangana region. Besides, rasta rokos and “Vanta Varpu” on the roads would be resumed, he added.
